The index of Bulgarian residential property prices calculated each quarter by Bulgarian’s National Statistical Institute has gone by 0.5% in the third quarter on a quarterly basis.
All of Bulgarian’s 27 district capital cities saw their residential property prices go down in the 3rd quarter of 2011. The largest decreases in the prices of residential real estate on quarterly basis was registered in the southern city of Kyuistendil 3,5% in the northwestern city of Montana-3.4%, and in the southern city Pazardzhik-2,7%.
881.21BGN was the average price per square meter of residential property in Bulgaria in July-September 2012, according to NSI.
The highest average prices per sq.m. of residential property in Bulgaria were found in the capital Sofia- 1 447.33 BGN per sq.m., in Varna-1 425.83BGN, and in Bourgas- 1135.83 BGN
