Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, Varna and veliko Tyrnovo- these are the five biggest regions in Bulgaria where have been made the most of the real estate deals in Bulgaria. These are the regions with growth of population accordingly to the finished counting. Approx 55-60 % of all real estate deals are made in these five cities.

In the following few years these will be the regions with growth of the property market. In the past few years of rising the real estate market was strongly influenced by the foreign investors. But in the future the main factor determining the real estate rates and the movement in the market will be the demographic processes.

The cities wist the most expensive real estates are Sofia, varna, Burgas, Veliko Tyrnovo and Plovdiv. Veliko Tyrnovo holds 3% from the property deals, Varna and Plovdiv – 10% of the deals, In Burgas approx 7%. In the past year the highest average real estate rates per sq.m of living area was not in Sofia-1568 BGN, but in Varna- 1579BGN. In Plovdiv the rates per sq.m living area are 1036BGN and in Burgas is 1196BGN.
