Every one who has an established Bulgarian company before 2008 must Re-register it. If this is not done with the deadline may loss the company including the property that have been bought in Bulgaria. The deadline is 31.12.2011.

All companies have to make registration in the new online Trade register till the end of the year. If not this will lead to liquidation of the company and dissolving of its assets, including the properties that belongs to the company in Bulgaria.
Many foreign property buyers already have made their registrations, but many still have to do it. Time is running out!

The Law also request that all Bulgarian companies, no matter whether they are trading or not, publish their financial reports in the online register, starting from the reports for 2007. This should be done within 2 months after their company re- registration. This is also something that we or our lawyer can do for our clients.
